I spent most of my career in public schools, where I loved the kids and could never give them enough time. Thirty-minute groups, four children at once, a caseload that decided for me who got help and for how long.
I started this practice so I could work with one child at a time, in the place they talk the most — their own living room — and stay with them until the work is actually done. You will get me at every session. Not an assistant, not a rotation.

You tell me what you’re seeing. I tell you honestly whether an evaluation makes sense, or whether this looks like something that will sort itself out. No charge either way.

An evaluation, within two weeks
Ninety minutes of play and standardized testing, wherever your child is most himself. You get a written summary and a plan you can actually read.

Weekly sessions
Same day, same time, same therapist. Fifty minutes with parent coaching included, and five minutes of homework a day — never a workbook.
Rates
$165 a session. Here’s why insurance isn’t part of it.
I'm private pay, no insurance company in the room. Sometimes that costs more. It also means nobody outside your family decides how many sessions your child gets. No pre-authorization, no visit caps, no discharge because the benefit year ran out.
Every month I send an itemized superbill with the codes your insurer needs. If your plan has out-of-network benefits, you submit it and they reimburse you directly. HSA and FSA cards work here too.

Questions parents ask me
No — I’m private pay. I give you an itemized superbill each month that you can submit to your insurer for out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards work too.
Most children work with me weekly for four to six months. Younger children with a late start often move faster than parents expect. I’ll give you a real estimate after the evaluation and revisit it with you every eight weeks.
School services are built around access to the curriculum, usually in a group of three or four for thirty minutes. That’s a different job than the one you’re hiring me for. I work one-to-one on your goals, and I’m happy to coordinate with the school team rather than duplicate them.
Tell me and we change it — a different approach, a different schedule, or a referral to someone better suited. There’s no package and no contract; you pay session by session. If I’m not the right fit I’ll say so first.
Evaluations are usually scheduled within two weeks of the first call. Weekly sessions start the week after that. If I’m full, I’ll tell you that on the phone and point you to two therapists I trust.
Not to work with me. Pennsylvania lets you come straight to a licensed SLP. Your insurer may want a referral on file for reimbursement, so ask them before you submit the first superbill.
